When Rugby Free Secondary School approached us to help with their marketing, the school had literally just opened in a temporary building with its initial intake of around 130 Year Seven students.
What struck us was the very strong and positive sense of community that headteacher Christine Green and her team had created in a very short time. Pupils and parents genuinely feel invested in this school and its values of openness and inclusivity. It’s a place where youngsters are encouraged to learn and fulfil their potential by enthusiastic teachers in a supportive environment.
So many parents we spoke to had been converted from initial hesitancy about a brand new school with no exam record to wholeheartedly embracing the project. The message from the children was the same. “We’re building our own school”, they kept telling us.
When we made the website and marketing brochure, we aimed to bring all that across. At the same time, we were very conscious that the school is going to grow year on year, so this room for expansion has also been built into the website.
Both the website and print materials have been enhanced in no small measure by stunning, natural images by our photography partner Jon Fox. See more about Jon on our Recommended Partners page http://www.clarkesconsulting.co.uk/cc-recommended-partners/
We are looking forward to continuing to work with and support Rugby Free Secondary School as they grow and develop over the years ahead.
